The operation principle and function of ceiling fan
Ceiling fan is a kind of fan installed on the ceiling, can promote airflow circulation, so that indoor air circulation is not stuffy, ceiling fan motor speed is lower than the common fans on the market, but the torque is larger, when using generally have two functions: forward and reverse rotation.
The motor speed is lower than common fans in the market, but the torque is higher.
The upward airflow can make the indoor air convect effectively. In winter, it can be used with the heater to make the hot air rise and improve the indoor temperature effectively.
Types of ceiling fans and materials
Depending on the use, ceiling fans can be divided into industrial ceiling fans and decorative ceiling fans:
●Industrial ceiling fans: They are used in a wide range of places, including homes, factories and public places, and their main sizes are 900mm, 1050mm, 1200mm, 1400mm and 1500mm.
●Decorative ceiling fans: Beautiful in appearance, often equipped with different colors and styles of air blades and lights. Can be used as an auxiliary appliance for air conditioning, in the air-conditioned room to use decorative ceiling fans than not to use ceiling fans to save 15% -35%.
Depending on the motor structure, ceiling fans can be divided into DC models and AC models:
●DC ceiling fans: DC ceiling fans use the current magnetic effect to drive the shaft to drive the fan blades to operate, saving electricity compared to AC ceiling fans, no mechanical noise when running, more adjustable air volume segments and long life, but the price is higher than AC ceiling fans.

Ceiling fan suitable useable area and downrod size
●Usable area: Before selecting a ceiling fan, you should confirm the area of the environment you are using and select the right size ceiling fan to match the installation in order to achieve the expected cooling effect.
●Downrod size: According to the ceiling height, choose the right size of downrod to install the ceiling fan, so as to avoid too long downrod makes the ceiling fan too oppressive, or too short downrod makes the ceiling fan too far from the ground, and lose the circulation utility. However, because everyone’s house height is different, so need to increase or reduce the length of the downrod depending on the situation, for example, apartments about 2.7 ~ 3 meters high only need to use 6cm downrod can be, so as to avoid the fan piece is too low with a sense of pressure. If the height of the house is more than 3 meters, the standard 15cm downrod will be installed, but if the house is as high as 3.3 meters, it is recommended to increase the length of the downrod to 30cm, and the height of 3.4~4 meters needs to be lengthened to 45~60cm, so that the height of the ceiling fan can make the air field convection more efficient.
Ceiling fan installation precautions
1. Hanging place needs to be able to carry more than 30 kg: before installation, we must first judge whether the installation area is solid and can carry more than 30 kg to be suitable for installation, and it is generally recommended to install in the concrete wall, with reinforcement and can withstand the weight of the interior decoration ceiling, to ensure the safety of subsequent use.
2. Blade end and wall distance of more than 60 centimeters: ceiling fan fan blade end should be more than 60 centimeters away from the wall, avoid installation in the corner, next to the beam column and other locations to ensure the safety of use.
3. Fan blade needs to be 250 centimeters from the ground proposal: ceiling fan installation is recommended to be more than 250 centimeters from the ground, so as not to be too close to the ground too oppressive or dangerous.
4. Avoid installation under the lamps and lanterns: installation of ceiling fans should avoid the lighting fixtures below, so as not to produce shadow shaking phenomenon, affecting vision.
Ceiling fan maintenance and cleaning
1. Regular cleaning: ceiling fan if the accumulation of too much dust will affect the rotation speed, should be regularly cleaned every 2 ~ 3 months or so, wipe to avoid the use of strong cleaning agents, so as not to damage the surface of the fan blade.
2. Use wood protection oil: occasionally you can apply wood protection oil on the fan blade, which can increase the protection effect.
